The extra funding will help us provide more opportunities for children and young people to get physically active.

Free activities in our leisure centres
Spaces are limited and only available at certain times of the day. Check out our handy guide below for availability and how to book!

From Friday 26 June until Sunday 16 August, children and young people who are aged 0-17 can swim for free in our pools. Young people, or families with children, can also book our pitches, tennis courts and inside courts for free!

How we are supporting...
Local clubs
Are you a sports club in East Dunbartonshire? Would you be interested in providing reduced cost or free activities for children and young people?
To access this funding clubs will need to have completed our Club Approval process. Don't worry, our team can support you with this!
Young people
Are you a young person aged 16-26? Would you like to volunteer in sport or enhance your CV?
Great! We are offering free training opportunities across a wide variety of sports until the end of March 2027.
